Rivals
Out of all the rally cars that are out there, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Subaru Impreza Sti are the ones that stand out the most. The Sti and Evo have long been rivals since they've existed. The Lancer Evo is a great car, but the Impreza Sti is the one that takes first place! I'm going to give you three reasons why...
Looks
The Subaru Impreza Sti has a very appealing look to it inside and out. When the Evo looks mean and aggressive on the outside, is simple and basic on the inside. The Sti has a more inviting look from the outside, and a very bright interior.

Daily Driver
The Sti is better known as the "Daily Commuter" compared to the Evo. The Sti has more room than the Evo. The Sti is a way more comfortable ride, when the Evo is just rough and rigid. On the other hand, the Evo does have better handling compared to the Sti. But who's going to want to drive a car when it's not comfortable?
Performance
The Subaru Impreza Sti has a 2.5 liter Boxer Engine with 305hp, 290 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The Evo features a 2.0 liter engine which offers 291hp, 300 lb-ft of torque, and it is also AWD. Despite the HP difference, the Evo is a bit faster because of the the slight increase of torque. However, when it comes to the World Rally Championship, the Sti takes the lead once again. Subaru has won 3 WRCs from 1995-1997. When the Evo has won only one WRC in 1998.
